ClubMinx is a group of consenting adults who enjoy
participating in alternative lifestyle (swing) activities. The
Club is not a physical location but a group of people
(singles and committed couples) who arrange events at hotels
or banquet facilities.
 | What is swinging? |
Swinging is the act of engaging in sexual activities which
do not meet the norm of accepted consensual sex. There
are no established norms for swinging but most people
that consider themselves "swingers" enjoy engaging in
activities with partners other than their own. Often times,
these sexual relationships involve group or bisexual
activity.
| How discrete is ClubMinx? |
Tough question. There is an assumption when a swing event is
event are people that are interested in swing activities. In other
words, everybody in attendance has an interest outside the
norm and does not want their normal associates to be aware of
these interests. Most attendees are very relaxed in the club
atmosphere and this is the prime attraction to a swing club.
Relax and enjoy. Respect other people's privacy and they will
respect yours. If you have troubles at home, leave them at
home!
| What does "Off-Premise" mean? |
Off-Premise is a general term used to describe the sexual
conduct a swing club allows. Off-premise means that overt
sexual activities are not allowed. Flirting, flashing, kissing,
etcetera are allowed activities while public sex (oral or
otherwise) is prohibited.
| Why does ClubMinx suggest a donation for events rather | |
| than requiring a cover charge? |
Texas Laws are not very specific when it comes to laws
governing prostitution. To eliminate the possibility of the
Club being seen as promoting prostitution (a Felony), there
is no requirement to pay for access to the club activities.
That being said, there are expenses associated with
organizing a club event. To assist in covering the costs of
an event, ClubMinx has reviewed the costs of events and
determined a "break-even" amount. To ensure that events
are exciting and fun, we suggest a donation and hope that
event participants are willing to donate and support the
club.
| What exactly do you mean by "Non-Profit"? |
The organizers of ClubMinx have experienced a number of
clubs. It has been our experience that clubs "owned" by
the members with all monies going back into the club were
just more damn fun to attend. There is more money
available for events and everybody has a say in the club.
The club usually does not become "cliquish" and as it
grows, there is money available to support the growth.
This also removes the suspicion that many of us have that
"the owners are only in it for the money".
